Information About the Virtual Class

Students will use a lectionary-based curriculum using the Pflaum publication Gospel Weeklies that contains assessments of activities, objectives, and resources that will facilitate learning at home. Parents must pick up books and resources each trimester and attend meetings twice a year. Catechists monitor and evaluate the progress of their students on a quarterly basis. Catechists/Parents will observe best practices guidelines for on-line learning.

Goals for the Faith Formation Program

The faith formation program aims to support parents and raise their children from Kindergarten through 12th Grade in the Catholic faith.

Gives a family-based catechism in the program that is intended to strengthen and build on the foundation that has already been given in the home.

Reason Behind the Family Catechism

In the new normal, most parents prefer that their children go through the blended family learning approach.

The family catechism uses connectivity (virtual) and home strategies with the support of the catechists.

Parents understand that their preferred mode of learning for their children will depend on their active role in their child’s faith journey.

Parents and every Christian family embrace domestic functions and reflect the life of the Church: its mission in the catechism. It is through whom the Gospel is transmitted and through whom it spreads.
